Ward Street Community Resources is a nonprofit 501(c), formed in 2004 and is a volunteer-staffed organization co-located at Ward Street Mission United Methodist Church.  We serve the communities in the southwest section of High Point, North Carolina.

Our services include a food pantry, clothing closet, emergency assistance for rent or utilities.

Due to the continuing COVID-19 crisis our programs continue to operate differently, but you can call 336-888-6091 and ask for a appointment for drive-up food service on Wednesdays of each week. You must call first to receive an appointment time. There are still no community hot meals being served and the Clothes Closet is open to the public on Thursdays from 10am - 1pm EDT (masks on ALL people entering the building is required). You may also call for a Clothes Closet shopping appointment. We will keep you informed of any changes we make.  Remember to:  Wash your hands!  Wear your masks!  Practice safe distancing!

Ward Street Community Resources is co-located with Ward Street United Methodist Church located at 1619 West Ward Avenue, High Point, North Carolina 27260.  We utilize the entrance door on the west side of the church off Wrightenberry Street.
